Brief Description

    • Siemens: Design, manufacture, factory testing, delivery, installation and commissioning of eight SGT-800 industrial gas turbines as well as nine step-up transformers
    • GE:
      • An 86-megawatt (MW) Frame 7E gas turbine.
      • Three main refrigerant centrifugal compressors (two mixed refrigerant and one propane).
      • A 24-MW variable speed drive starter/helper.
      • Waste heat recovery units (WHRUs).
      • Associated auxiliary equipment.
    • Yokogawa : Supply integrated control and safety systems (ICSS)
  • Licensor:
    • Air Products AP-C3MRTM LNG process technology and equipment
    • BASF: Licence of technology for the removal of carbon dioxide from natural gas

Ongoing Projects/Project Status

  • The FEED contract is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2011

  • Suppliers: Gas will come from the South Tambeyskoye Gas Field

    • CNPC agreed to buy 20% of the volume

  • 2012 - Yamal LNG signed a license agreement on the use of BASF’s technology for the removal of carbon dioxide from natural gas
  • 2013 - Technip / JGC awarded EPC contract

  • 2015 - Gazprom signs purchase agreement
  • 2015 - ENGIE signs a long-term LNG purchase contract
