Description

  • West Seno is located in the Makassar Strait production sharing contract (PSC) area
  • The project was developed in two phases with two tension leg platforms (TLP) and a floating production unit (FPU)
    • Phase 1 includes 28 development wells to recover resources in the northern section of the West Seno field. The TLP supports the 28 development wells and a tender-assist drilling rig. The TLP is linked to the nearby FPU where the produced oil and gas is processed to sales quality.
    • Phase 2 included a second TLP and 24 additional development wells on the field's southern section
  • The FPU has a capacity of 60,000 barrels of oil per day and 150 million standard cubic feet of gas per day. It measures 152 meters in length, 38 meters in width and 12 meters in height.
  • The processed oil and gas is shipped through separate 12-inch submarine pipelines over 62 kilometers from the FPU to the onshore Santan terminal on East Kalimantan
  • West Seno was the first deepwater oil and gas project in Indonesia
  • The Bangka Gas and Condensate Field is tied back to the West Seno FPU
