  • The West of Shetland Pipeline (WOSP) system consists of a 20 inch trunk line which begins at the WOSP PLEM near Schiehallion field in the Northern North Sea and transports natural gas 188 km (117 miles) to Sullom Voe on the Shetland Isles.
  • As well as the Schiehallion Oil Field, gas from Foinaven Oil Field is also supplied to the pipeline
  • Gas from the Clair Oil Field is delivered into the pipeline at the Clair tee midway along the pipeline (105 km from Sullom Voe)
  • Treated gas is supplied to Magnus Oil Field, for enhanced oil recovery
