Description

  • Viking is situated in Blocks 49/12, 49/16 and 49/17.
  • Viking consists of seven normally unmanned platforms in the Southern North Sea plus one manned main complex, Viking B, and the associated outlying Vixen subsea satellite.
  • Vixen was developed by a subsea installation tied back to the Viking platform via an infield pipeline.
  • The 1998 Phoenix project added the KD & LD platforms and four more wells
  • The Victor Gas Field is also tied back to the Viking Platform
  • Gas is exported to the Theddlethorpe Gas Processing Plant
