History

  • 1901 - Refinery commissioned
  • 2005 - Premcor signes agreement with Air Products for supply of hydrogen
  • 2005 - One of four refineries acquired in the purchase of Premcor
  • 2006 - Expansion project increased throughput capacity from 250,000 bpd to approximately 310,000 bpd, and expanded the coker unit capacity from 80,000 bpd to 105,000 bpd
  • 2008 - Fluor awarded engineering, procurement, construction and construction management services contract for refinery upgrade
