Description
- A semi-submersible floating production unit with production capacity of 45,000 barrels of oil per day and 70 million cubic feet per day of natural gas is being utilized.
- The field will initially produce from three subsea wells connected via flow lines to the facility, which is installed in 6,050 feet of water
- The Big Bend & Dantzler Fields are to be tiedback to Thunder Hawk
- The Big Bend field is 18 miles from the Thunder Hawk platform in 7,200 feet of water in Mississippi Canyon Block 698
- The Dantzler field is 7 miles from the Thunder Hawk platform in 6,580 feet of water in Mississippi Canyon Block 782
