Crude Supply

• Crude is unloaded from VLCC size tankers using an SPM Buoy system installed in a water depth of approximately 30 metres.

Ongoing Projects

• The refinery is being expanded and upgraded, in the Sriracha Refinery Expansion Project
• The project will increase daily crude throughput from 275,000 barrels to 400,000 barrels
• A previous upgrade was the Thai Oil Sriracha Refinery Project

• 1961 - Refinery commissioned with 35,000 bpd capacity
• 1989 - Column revamped from 30,000 to 43,000 bpd and hydrocracker commssioned
• 1993 - Capacity increased by 100,000 bpd
• 1995 - Isomerisation unit commissioned
• Gasoil desulphurisation unit commissioned
• 2005 - Saipem awarded contract for design, procurement, fabrication, installation and pre-commissioning of an unloading Single Point Mooring buoy and pipeline
• 2005 - ABB awarded contract to revamp CDU
