Technical Details
- Storage capacity: three full containment 155,000 cubic meter LNG storage tanks
- Unloading capacity: ship unloading systems and a jetty to allow berthing of the world’s largest LNG vessels

Ongoing Projects/Project Status
- Construction of the Terminal is occurring in two phases: Phase 1 has now commenced commercial operations, while Phase 2 will be completed in the first quarter of 2010. When fully commissioned, the Terminal will have a total processing capacity of 15.6 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of LNG and be capable of delivering up to 21 billion cubic metres (bcm) per annum of gas into the National Transmission System (NTS) which is equivalent to 20% of total current UK natural gas demand.
