The Route
- The transport of the OCP heavy crude begins with the arrival of the hydrocarbon-users through pipelines to the station side-Amazonas, 5 km from the city of Nueva Loja.
- The OCP Marine Terminal, located in Punta Gorda, 15 km from the city of Esmeraldas is where the pipeline ends
- The pipeline delivers crude to the Esmeraldas Refinery as well as for export

- June 26, 2001 - construction of the pipeline began
- August 20, 2003 - Construction was completed
