History

• 1994 - A major explosion destroyed 3 of the 6 liquefaction trains
• 2005 - Expansion project was launched
• 2007 - KBR announced that it had been selected as engineering, procurement and construction contractor for the Skikda LNG project.

Ongoing Projects/Project Status

• An expansion is underway with the addition of the largest LNG train ever built in Algeria, producing 4.5 million metric tons per year
