  • Suppliers
    • The Project proposes to commercialize natural gas from onshore gas fields as well as associated gas from crude oil fields. The gas will be transported via a 750km pipeline to an area near Port Moresby where LNG liquefaction facilities are to be constructed.

History

  • 2008 - Nippon acquires the shares of AGL Energy
  • 2009 - The final investment decision on PNG LNG Project
  • 2011 - Marubeni became a shareholder

Other Information

  • The PNG LNG Project will produce associated liquids which will be exported via the Kumul Marine terminal
  • JBIC supported the project with a loan of 1.8 billion US dollars
