The purpose of this Wiki is to build up a knowledge base of the sector so that I or anyone else can locate the information that they need. As my area of particular interest is refining, I have started collecting information on Oil Refineries and an LNG Terminal Database. Over time however, I hope to add a lot more.
Similar to the Refineries database, I am developing an Oil Pipeline Database, with information on transnational and other major oil pipelines. Likewise, a Natural Gas Pipeline Database is being developed. Nothing if not ambitious, I am also adding an Oil and Gas Field Database
There is also a Glossary of Upstream Terms and a Refining Glossary.
For those of you who want to know the difference between Brent & WTI, the Crude Oil Types page will be useful. There is also a section on Unconventional Oil and Gas Resources .
