The Route
- The 830 kilometre Ocensa pipeline starts onshore at the Cusiana Oil Field and Cupiagua Oil Field and terminates at the port in Coveñas on the Caribbean coast of Colombia.

- 1997 - Pipeline operations commence
- 2003 - BP acquires and extra 9.6% stake in asset swap with Hess
- 2009 - Ecopetrol acquire shares from Enbridge increasing its stake from 35.3% to 60%
- 2010 - BP sold a 24.8 per cent interest in the pipeline to Ecopetrol & Talisman along with various upstream assets
- 2011 - Petrominerales acquired a five percent interest from Total

- The Ocensa pipeline is presently running at capacity, transporting sixty percent of the current total oil production in Colombia.
