History

  • 2008 - LUKOIL Neftochim Burgas Selects Axens’ Hydrocrackers for Upgrader
  • 2009 - Technip awarded FEED contract
  • 2011 - Technip was awarded a lump sum services contract, worth approximately €70 million, for phase 1 of the project
  • 2012 - A turnkey project-implementation contract was signed with Technip for the heavy-residue hydrocracking complex
  • 2012 - Maire Tecnimont awarded SRU contract
  • 2014 - SACE awards €420 million loan facility
  • 2015 - The new units were commissioned
