  • 1997 - Refinery operations commence, with a capacity of 165,000 bpd
  • 1987 - Refinery is expanded to 320,000 bpd
  • 1996 - The Isomerization Plant, Deep Hydrodesulfurization Plant, TAME plant and MTBE plant were commissioned
  • 1997 - Alkylation Unit commissioned
  • 2010 - Saipem awarded the EPC contract for two desulphurisation units and two amine regeneration units
