  • The P-53 FPSO has total production capacity of 180,000 barrels per day of heavy oil, 20º API, and compressing capacity up to 6 million cubic meters/day of natural gas.
  • The platform’s oil production will be offloaded to shore by shuttle tankers with the assistance of Autonomous PRA-1 Pumping Platform and the FSO Cidade de Macaé.
  • Part of the gas that is produced will be consumed by the platform itself as fuel to generate electricity, and the remaining will be exported to shore via the Campos Basin’s gas network

    • Oil is sent to the FSO Cidade de Macae MV15 which has a storage capacity of 2.15 million barrels of oil, is one of the largest FSO units in the world
    • The FSO receives and exports production from five platforms offshore Brazil: P-52 (Roncador), P-53 (Marlim Leste), P-51 (Marlim Sul) and P-55 (Roncador) and Roncador Module 4 unit that will be installed in the future.
    • The FSO topsides include a crude inlet heater module, crude import/export metering module, E-house and three gas turbine generators sets which make up the power generation module
