- The Irong Barat field, discovered in 1979, is located about 210 kilometres offshore the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, in approximately 64 metres of water.
- The field utilises 3 platforms A, B and C
- Irong Barat C was designed as an unstaffed minimum facility platform supported by a lightweight tripod jacket
- The oil from the field is a constituent of Tapis Blend Crude Oil
