Description

  • The field is located in block 210/24a, approximately 85 kilometres to the north east of the Shetland Islands.
  • The field originally had its own FPSO but is now is produced as a subsea tieback via the Tern Alpha platform, approximately eleven (11) kilometres to the east.
  • The Hudson field comprises seven (7) production wells and two (2) water injection wells.

History

  • 1992 - Development approval awarded
  • 2002 - Dana acquired a 19.5% interest from Eni
  • 2005 - Dana acquired Hess's stake in the field
  • 2007 - Shell and Esso decide to dispose of the field along with a number of others
  • 2008 - TAQA acquired 26% stake in the field from Shell and Esso
