Description

  • The In Salah Gas Fields include seven known gas fields in the licence area which consists of 750 square kilometres
  • Gas is transported on a 520-kilometres pipeline northwards to Hassi R'Mel where it connects with other pipelines
  • Three gas fields – Krechba, Teg and Reg – located in the northern part of the license, were initially developed in phase one
  • Phase two consists of four gas fields – Garet El Bifna, Gour Mahmoud, In Salah and Hassi Moumene – in the southern part of the license
  • Phase 2 development consists of a new central production and gas gathering facility at In Salah comprising two dehydration trains, with the capacity to produce approximately 16.8 million cubic metres of gas per day, associated permanent camps, and approximately 300km of pipelines for gas collection from the in-field wells and export to the existing Krechba facility
