Brief Description
- Hainan Refinery, is a medium sized refinery, with significant cracking ability, and the ability to produce Euro III fuels.

- 3.1 million tons/year catalyst raw material pretreatment,
- 2.8 million tons/year heavy oil catalytic cracking, sulfur removal and mercaptan removal,
- 0.6 million tons/year gas fractionation,
- 0.1 million tons/year methyl tertiary butyl ether,
- 1.2 million tons/year continuous reforming, - UOP
- 0.2 million tons/year isomerization,
- 1.2 million tons/year hydrocracking,
- 60,000 Nm3/h hydrogen manufacturing,
- 2 million tons/year diesel hydrotreating,
- 0.3 million tons/year aviation kerosene hydrotreating,
- 80,000 tons/year sulfur recovery and solvent regernation,
- 180 tons/hour acid water stripping
Terminal Capacity

Crude Supply
- Hainan Refinery mainly processes imported crude oil.
- The self-equipped deep water wharf is located within Yangpu Shentou port area.
- There are five berths including 300,000 DWT crude oil berths and 100,000 DWT oil product berths, the annual handling capacity of which is beyond 25 million tons.

Ongoing Projects
- Sinopec plans to add 100,000 bpd of crude refining capacity and 1 million tonnes-per-year of ethylene production capacity
