History
- 2002 - Tangguh signed an agreement to supply LNG to the Fujian LNG terminal
- 2007 - The purchase and sales contract (revision) of Fujian LNG Project was signed
- 2009 - Terminal operations begin
- 2009 - Expansion project awarded to CB&I
Ongoing Projects/Project Status
- By 2011, the new storage tanks No.3 and No.4 will be put into use, and the annual receiving capacity of Fujian LNG terminal will be doubled to 5.2 million tons.
Suppliers / Customers
- Suppliers: The main supplier of the first phase is Tangguh LNG Terminal
- Customers: After gasification, part of the gas will be supplied to gas-fired power plants in Putian, Jinjiang and Xiamen via gas transmission trunk lines, and the rest will be sent to enterprises and residents in 5 big cities in Fujian Province including Fuzhou, Putian, Quanzhou, Xiamen and Zhangzhou

- The cold energy from the gasification process is utilised by an Air Separation Unit, built in conjunction with Air Products
