Al-Khafji Field Development – Phase 1 2006 / 2010

Project Description
The field development for Khafji has been developed to maintain the maximum sustainable capacity of 300,000 Barrel Oil per Day and production of 125 Million Standard Cubic Feet Per Day of Associated gases, as well as, 50 Million Standard Cubic Feet Per Day gas lift, by installation of 6 new platforms, 8500 tons total structure weight and modification of 9 existing platforms, in addition to subsea pipelines with a total length of 110 kilometer sizing 24 inches, 28 inches, 36 inches and 42 inches and laying of 59 kilometer subsea cables.

GUPCO Rehabilitation Project 2005 / 2015 (Long-Term Contract)

Project Description
The project aims to the Rehabilitation of BP offshore facilities including steel structural platforms, topside facilities and subsea pipelines. The offshore facilities consist of 9 complexes & 69 satellites (with an overall count of 119 platforms and 400 wells) and 1600 km of sub-sea pipelines.
The aim of the overall rehabilitation project was to make sure that the whole system could safely operate for at least additional 25 years maintaining the best possible operating conditions and capacities. A qualitative risk based approach had been followed for the whole 119 platforms in order to evaluate the hazard of structural failure.

2. Sealines: 12” mixed phase sealine (44 km) for the transportation of the recombined gas and condensate stream, 3” sealine for glycol supply.
3. Onshore Facilities: slug catcher, LTS unit, condensate stabilization unit, and floating roof tanks to store gasoline, dry gas centrifugal compressor.
4. Transportation to Port Said: 14” pipeline (20 km) for dry gas transportation.
