Description

The name of the field has been changed to Vette
The field is located at a water depth of about 110 metres in the southeastern part of the North Sea, approximately 50 kilometres northwest of the Yme field
The field is to be developed utilising four production and two water injection wells tied back to the Bream FPSO

History

1972 - Bream Oil Field discovered
2009 - An appraisal well, including two horizontal sidetracks, was drilled
2012 - Premier acquired a further 20% stake from Skeie Energy
2013 - Premier increased its stake to 50% and KUFPEC to 30% acquiring stakes from BG Group
2014 - FEED contracts awarded
2015 - Det Norske acquired Premier's stake

Geology

The reservoir is in Middle Jurassic sandstones in the Sandnes Formation, at a depth of about 2 300 metres.
