  • 2007 - Bechtel awarded project management contract
  • 2014 - Conocophillips sells its stake

Ongoing Projects/Project Status

  • The final investment decision is expected in the 1st quarter of 2011

Suppliers / Customers

  • Suppliers: Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Eni, will supply gas for 50% of the plant's production.
  • Customers: BG Group has an agreement for 2.0 million tonnes per annum (mtpa)
    • It was planned to export the LNG to the USA, but changes in the market there mean that new customers are needed.
