I have been seeing a lot of people looking for the "star refinery indonesia" over the last few days. Now I have a decent amount of knowledge about the sector, and this one is a new one on me, so I have been searching. To not much avail

I am still not sure what it is you are looking for, so if anyone can enlighten me, I would be grateful.

If it has anything to do with Alor Star Petroleum, then I warn you to beware. It smells.

The companies they claim to be working with, don't seem to exist. The Golf Tournament they claim to sponsor, seems to be sponsored by Ricoh (see LGU championships, and the charities they support have suspiciously generic names.

The web is alive with complaints, with more here.

The alleged company's website is hosted with a free webhosting service, talk about cheap skates.

I know the company is allegedly Malaysian, and the queries are for Indonesia, but I wondered if they had created a fake project to get people to bite.
