Description

  • Bass Lite is located in water depths of approximately 6,750 feet. Production from Bass Lite commenced in February 2008 from an early production system until the primary two-well development system was completed in August. Gross production from the development currently averages approximately 110 million cubic feet of natural gas per day.
  • Natural gas is produced from Bass Lite via a 56-mile subsea tieback to the Devils Tower Spar located in Devils Tower Oil And Gas Field on Mississippi Canyon Block 773

  • Technip:
    • Engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation of a steel flowline that will tie-back subsea wells at a depth of 6,750 feet of water in Atwater Valley 426, to a steel catenary riser to be installed on the Devils Tower Spar in 5,600 feet of water.
    • Design and manufacture one Flowline End Termination (FLET), two Flowline Midline Terminations (FLMT) as well as manufacture and install the jumper
    • engineering and installation of three steel umbilical sections, approximately 19 miles long each, and installation of the hydraulic, electrical and optical connecting lines for the control of the subsea system
