Brief Description

  • The refinery is a small and very simple one. It has recently been upgraded to enable it to produce high octane gasoline and a hydrocracker is to be added

  • A project to add a hydrocracker, the Assiut Refinery Hydrocracking Complex Project has been launched.
  • A gasoline project was completed in 2018, consisting of a Naphtha Hydrotreater (NHT), Continuous catalytic Reformer (CCR) and a C5/C6 isomerization unit with deisohexanizer recycle unit.
